|FBLA State Leadership Conference
MCMHS FBLA accepting Gold Chapter Award
Marion County’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) traveled to Atlanta March 26-28 for the State Leadership Conference. The MCMHS chapter walked away with 5th place in Local Chapter Market Share and the Gold Chapter Award, which is the highest level attainable at the state level. Seth McAllister and Trip Medders brought home 7th place for Community Service Project while Alex Wilde and Melissa McAllister won 3rd place in Digital Video Production.
Melissa McAllister completed her year as Central Area Vice President for the state of Georgia and was also recognized for the America level of Business Achievement Awards which qualifies her for the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN to be held in July. Other students attending were Myranda Harbuck, Dhruthi Patel, Devan Hagler, and Kinsey Powell. Students were accompanied to Atlanta by Mrs. Sherry McAllister, FBLA Adviser, Mrs. Sally Hagler and Miss Alisha Grier.
