Marion County Middle/High School students (grades 9 – 12) may pick up schedules as well as tend to various obligations (locker, parking, ID, etc.) for the upcoming year according to the following schedule: Tuesday, July 24 (Seniors – 8:30 a.m. – 12:00, Grades 9, 10, 11 – 1:00 – 4:00) OR Wednesday, July 25 (8:30 – 1:00).

Students of grades 9 – 12, it will be very tough for you to have changes to your schedule. Therefore, it is very important that you check with Mr. Tidwell this summer if you notice a need for a change in your schedule.

Students in grades 6-8 may call the school (229-649-7520) for their homeroom assignments on Thursday, July 26th. Lockers ($8.00) for students in grades 6-8 will be assigned through the homeroom teacher on the first day of school.

Before students in grades 9-12 will be allowed to pick up their schedule, an ID picture must be made as well as selecting a new computer password in the media center. Students may also select a locker ($8.00) and a parking permit ($10.00). Students wishing to purchase a parking permit must present a valid driver’s license.

Open House for grades 6 – 12 will be held Thursday, August 2nd from 5:30 – 8:30 with the following meetings: Orientation will be held for 6th grade students at 6:00 p.m. – in the cafeteria, entire school (grades 6 – 12) – 6:30 (updates, any questions) – in the gym, 9th grade – 7:15 (high school orientation) – in the cafeteria. Feel free to visit with teachers in your classroom before or after your particular grade level meeting.

The first day of school for the 2012-2013 school term is Tuesday, August 7, 2012. For questions, you may contact the office at Marion County Middle/High School at 649-7520. The office is open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 – 5:00 if you need assistance.
