Board of Education

  The Marion County Board of Education is the official governing body for the School System. Board members, acting as one body, are responsible for policy making, budget approval, evaluation of the superintendent, and other duties prescribed by law. Each elected board member serves a four-year term.

The Marion County Board of Education holds its regular monthly meeting on the second Monday of each month.
