The Marion County School District Career, Technical and Agriculture Education (CTAE) Department does

programs at Marion County Middle High School (grades 9-12): Agriculture; Business and
Computer Science; Family & Consumer Sciences; Healthcare Science; (Grades 6-8) Business and Computer Science.

-Official college transcripts from all schools attended.
-Copy of Teaching Certificate or application for Teaching Certificate.
-Copies of test scores such as Praxis I and II, SAT, etc,.
-Any correspondence from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER APPLICANTS

Those interested should call Chattahoochee-Flint RESA at 229-937-5341 to register. The fee is $30.00 payable the day of the training.
1. a copy of a state-issued picture ID or drivers license,
2. a copy of your social security card,
3. official transcripts or other proof of highest completed level of education, and
4. a completed and signed background check
5. complete substitute teacher training – see scheduled dates below
The training will be held at Chattahoochee-Flint RESA from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Call to register as soon as possible. There is a $30.00 charge that must be paid the morning of the training….CASH ONLY. IF CLASS FILLS, ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE CALLED AHEAD TO REGISTER WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND.

If you are a certified teacher and provide a copy of your teaching certificate, it is not required that you attend a substitute training class; however, you will need to have a current background check.
