Fourth Grade Science

Fourth grade students in Mrs. Michelle Harris’ science classes at L.K. Moss Primary School have been “out of this world” over the past four weeks, as they learned about the solar system.

The students learned about all eight of the planets in the solar system, as well as their moons, asteroids, comets, the sun, dwarf planets, and more. Hands-on projects provided a fun way to learn, as they made “planetary posters” for an in-class project, and at home they made models of the solar system. They also gave oral presentations in the classroom.
