The 4th and 5th grade students have completed their first STEM unit on the book Johnny Appleseed in Mrs. Tracy Porter's Computer class. The students goal was to design a ramp to help Johnny get more apples picked using a series of turns. They started the unit off by doing a digital KWL about Johnny Appleseed. We then researched the different types of apples and discussed what happens to an apple tree during the four seasons. Finally, this week we constructed the ramps.
