L. K. Moss Students are building a functioning heart

In observance of Heart month in February and Jump Rope for Heart, students in some 4th and 5th grade classes are learning about their heart in the computer lab with help from our school nurse, Mrs. Annie Porter and their Computer Literacy Teacher, Mrs. Tracy Porter. At the end of the STEM lesson the students will build a functioning heart model using plastic bottles, straws, water with red food coloring, tape and modeling clay.
