At long last we are about to say, “Welcome Back!” to all of our L. K. Moss Elementary School students and families. We could not have imagined back in March when we closed that we would not be able to return until the following September. In recent months, we have seen a heroic effort on the part of our teachers and staff to provide the best possible level of learning and care for our students while dealing with unprecedented challenges. We feel that we had many successes, but it is equally clear that L. K. Moss Elementary School is ready to have its students back in school!
We will welcome kindergarten, first grade and second grade tomorrow, September 9th. The following Monday, September 14, 2020, grades three, four and five will begin and complete LKMES’ phase-in plan.
