Marion County School System Open House Dates and Times for the 2021-22 School Term
Marion County Schools look forward to opening for the 2021-22 school term. Students will return to class on Tuesday, August 3rd. Please read carefully for Open House dates, times, and protocol.
LK Moss info:
Open House for L.K. Moss will be Tuesday, July 27th, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. as a zoom meeting except Pre-K & Kindergarten. These are the times for grade level and specialty meetings:
- 2:00-Migrant/ELL meeting (Zoom)
- 1st-2:30(Zoom)
- 2nd-3:00(Zoom)
- 3rd-3:30(Zoom)
- 4th-4:00(Zoom)
- 5th-4:30(Zoom)
- Pre-K and Kindergarten at 5:00 (outside where buses unload)

Middle/High info:
Open House for the middle/high school will be held on Tuesday, July 27th, from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in the gym area only. Lockers, parking permits, schedules, bus information, parent portal information, and more will be available in the concession area of the gym. Parents and students will also be able to receive information regarding student health, Career/Technical Education courses, school counseling and academic guidance, supply lists, sports schedules, and technology.
Grade-level meetings will be held in person and recorded for 6th (at 4:00 in the gym) and 9th (4:30 in the gym).
Parents/guardians are encouraged to park in the gym lot and to report directly to the gym. The school building will not be open at this time.
Zoom meetings for 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school overview will be held on Wednesday, July 28th. Times and links will be posted.
