On June 30th, representatives from the Marion County Board of Education delivered cases of water, water bottles, and other items to the homes of Marion students affected by water shortage issues. The water and other items were provided on behalf of Marion County Schools. Marion County students from fall sports contributed their efforts in appreciation of the support they have received from the community over the years.

Student volunteers included: Daniel Porter, Bryson Clarke, Kunyae Clayton, Camron Crawford (football); Dakota Reynolds, Addison Dunn, Jaylyn Keyt, Kymora Waycaster (softball); Jalia Sanford, Ryleigh Brown, and Lindsey Vicente (cheer). Adult volunteers were: Jamie Penoncello, Superintendent; Cassandra Porter, Assistant Superintendent; Daniel Foster and Deana Dews, Transportation Department; Jeremiah Lumpkin and Eddie Willis, Maintenance Department; Coach Norman Royal, Football; and Coach John Dimitri, Softball.
