4th grade students enjoyed a Multiplication Ice Cream Sundae party to celebrate their accomplishments and hard work.

As we all know, Covid-19 and virtual learning greatly impacted all students. Despite the setback, 4th Graders worked extremely hard this school year to study and master their multiplication facts using a variety of resources. Students learned catchy rap multiplication songs, played various, competitive classroom (X) games, frequently monitored their own progress towards goals, and used multiple technology resources to assist them in fact mastery. Their hard work paid off with delicious rewards. Recently, all 4th grade students enjoyed a Multiplication Ice Cream Sundae party to celebrate their accomplishments and hard work. They had any topping you can imagine for an ice cream and were thrilled about being able to create their own ice cream sundae. Mrs. McCorkle is SO proud of all of her math students for making great progress this school year! Their hard work paid off, not only in being able to earn a tasty treat, but by taking ownership and making a difference in their own mathematical success for the rest of their lives. Way to go 4th graders!
