Marion County High School’s Flint Energies EMPOWER delegation visited Magnolia Manor nursing home in Buena Vista to bring Christmas cards and cheer to the residents during their Friday exercise and coffee time. EMPOWER is a youth leadership initiative led by Flint Energies and sponsored locally by the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce. Pastries for coffee time were supplied by Buena Vista Coffee Club and the Chamber of Commerce on behalf of this group.
Marion EMPOWER members include: Charlize Delong, Caden Robinson, Kyliah Scales, Josalyn Sizemore, and Eva Walton. Baileigh Barrentine is their Class of 2026 student mentor.
