Marion County High School will host two awards ceremonies on May 14th. Students in grades 9-11 will be honored at 10:00 a.m. They were given invitations today. Students who were absent, please check with Mrs. Alisha in the front office for your invitation.
Seniors have 4 mandatory events in the coming weeks. Students who will walk in the May 23rd graduation must attend all 4 events:
1) Awards Practice and LK Moss Hall Walk: May 12. Meet in Red Zone at noon.
2) Awards Program: May 14. There is a reception for Seniors and their parents in the cafeteria at 5:00. The program begins at 6:00. Wear cap and gown over the required outfit (white shirt, black pants, black shoes, black tie for males; dress shorter than the gown and black shoes for females)
3) Graduation Practice: May 22 at 8:00 a.m. Just wear shorts and a t-shirt. Males should bring a hat. Meet in cafeteria.
4) Graduation Ceremony: May 23. Seniors will meet in the cafeteria fully dressed for the graduation ceremony at 8:00 a.m. Parents should plan to arrive at the field no later than 8:45.
Middle school awards will be held on March 14th at 1:00; those invitations have been given out also.
