Marion School Lunches Earn 2020 Vision Endorsement

Marion County Schools has received a 2020 Vision sign award for the school district representing excellence in the School Nutrition program.  This award was decided upon by leaders from agriculture, education, and public health from across the State of Georgia.  Selected schools had to include Georgia Grown foods in at least 20 percent of each school meal.

The Marion County School System would like to thank Sonya Faulk, School Nutrition Director, for her hard work and dedication to feeding local students.  The 2020 Vision Districts were endorsed by Gary Black, Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture; Richard Woods, Georgia School Superintendent; Misty Friedman, Georgia Farm to School Director, and Dr. Linette Dodson, Georgia School Nutrition Director.
