ATTENTION LKM PARENTS!! The first day of school for “FACE-TO-FACE” instruction is Wed., August 5. The first day of school for VIRTUAL STUDENTS is Monday, August 10.

I realize you may have seen media coverage of actions the state school board may take regarding a setback to the opening date. I know this is a stressful time for all of us, made more difficult by uncertainty. As our local board receives information (which may be delayed in coming from the state), we will discuss at Tuesday’s local board meeting and give you all details as they become available.

Today is the last day for Virtual Learning Enrollment. Please see the news section on the District Page for the form. Forms are also available at each school.

Students who have elected to do online coursework but who wish to retain their dual enrollment/college-level courses need to contact price.melissa@marion.k12.ga.us by Monday, July 27th.

Registration for virtual instruction is due tomorrow July 21st.

Thank you to Renee Barrett and the Marion County Health Department for their help and guidance this summer. We are grateful for their continued support in keeping our students safe and healthy.

Check out our new and improved gym floor! Excited to see many wins in the future!
