Due to the temporary water outage, L. K. Moss Elementary School has implemented its Temporary Water Interruption Plan (MCMHS was never without water.). Faculty and staff are taking all precautions to continue to keep our students and employees safe and healthy (general precautions listed below). If conditions remain as they are, Marion County Schools will resume regular operations tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2. Interrupted Water Advisory Precautions

Commercially bottled water is being used to wash hands followed with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

Only commercially bottled water is being used for drinking water. Feel free to send bottled water for your child; however, the school will provide water to all students and employees.

When necessary, commercially manufactured ice is also being used.

All school food is being prepared with commercially bottled water and single service utensils and tableware. The menu is being limited to ready to eat items or cook to serve items with limited preparation.
