The Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Trailblazer Scholarship was established in 2014 with contributions from members of the church and proceeds of the Black History Gala. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who will be enrolled full-time in a collegiate program leading to a two-year or four-year degree. Scholarship funds are awarded to aid the recipient in defraying the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room, board, and other college expenses.
