In-person students in grades 6-11, don't forget that Picture Day is tomorrow! Everyone must "sit" for a yearbook picture; the purchase of a package is up to you. Bring your best smile! *Work from home students will have pictures scheduled at a later date TBA.

From the Yearbook Staff: The ballot for Class Favorites (2021) is now live in Teams. Seniors may submit their votes by logging in between now and Tuesday, November 10th at 3:00. Please read the ballot carefully; there are numerous categories.

Seniors who have not ordered a cap and gown: Herff Jones will have a representative on campus this Friday, starting around 11:30. Please plan to order on this day if you have not already done so. You may also order online at www.herffjonesswga.com.

We will have an inter-squad football scrimmage on Thursday, November 5th. We will begin with Senior night recognition at 5:15. (Seniors and their 2 escorts are asked to arrive no later than 5:00.) The Homecoming Court recognition will be held around 6:00 (during halftime).

There will be no football game this Friday vs. Central-Talbotton (they cancelled on us). We were hoping to find another team to play, but we have exhausted all efforts to find someone.
We are HOPING to have a game next week (either Thursday or Friday) and we can have the Senior Recognition and Homecoming festivities. As soon as we have things in concrete, we will pass along to you!!

Seniors, Valdosta State University is waiving their application fee. To apply, visit www.valdosta.edu or search for their application on www.gafutures.org. Be sure you meet their requirements; SAT and ACT are also waived.

Middle School Basketball cheer tryouts will be Nov. 2nd - 4th. This is only for students that did not cheer for football. If you made the football cheer squad, you already have a spot on the basketball squad. All forms must be turned in by 10/30. Traditional students may sign up in the front office and virtual students can email Jennifer Jackson at Jackson.jennifer@marion.k12.ga.us. You must have a physical before tryouts.

Central of Talbotton has cancelled this Friday night's game. At this time, we are searching for another opponent. The Homecoming game may be delayed. If necessary, we will make additional plans to highlight our court and Seniors. Updates will be posted as they become available.
