VALENTINE’S DELIVERY: Valentine's Day is almost here! After all of the challenges the pandemic has thrown our way, the Marion County School System would like to make sure you are able to send gifts to students should you choose to do so. We will observe Valentine's Day for the school system on Monday, February 14th (as long as schools remain open at that time). We ask that all items be delivered to the Media Center at L.K. Moss and to the gym at MCMHS between the hours of 8 AM and 12 Noon on Monday, February 14, 2022. Please be sure to label the item with the student's name and the teacher's name (Pre K--7th grade: homeroom teacher / Grades 8-12: 4th block teacher). As usual, if your child or teen is a bus rider, balloons must be the small kind with a "stick". No large balloons or stuffed animals will be permitted on buses.

Attention Parents: Please note that Friday, December 17 is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. Students will begin to load buses at 11:45 am. Students will arrive home approximately 3 HOURS EARLY. Car riders will begin loading at 11:35 am. Please plan early to provide supervision for your children on that day. Christmas Holidays are Dec. 20-Jan. 4, 2022. Have a safe and wonderful break.
JUST A REMINDER! The After-School Program has ended for the 1st half of the school year. It will resume in January, 2022. A notice will be sent home on the date for the 2nd half of the after-school program. NO AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM NEXT WEEK-DEC. 13-17. We look forward to seeing each of you next year!

Don't forget about family STEAM night TOMORROW (Thursday, November 18th). It will be at L.K. Moss from 5-7 pm. There will be all sorts of fun activities for the whole family! Live animals, slime making, robots, a cake walk and more!

Come join us for lots of fun, animals from Oxbow Meadows, coloring/art, necklace making, STEM activities (slime, catapults, erupting spheres, etc.), Drones, Robots and STEAM activities (gears/Knex, 3D printer, Ferrofluid, Big Trax, Ozobots, Buzzwire, Arches, Bop-A-Light, etc)

Annual STEAM Family Night: Will be hosted on Thursday, November 18th. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This event will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, including a Silent Cake Auction. At 7:00 pm there will be a last call for bids and winners will be announced. All students and their families are invited to attend. There will be tons of amazing activities for everyone to enjoy. We are excited to have this incredible family involvement night which bring joy and excitement to students and their families.
